Smartphone Photography Workshop at Ashridge House - April 19th 2023

Are you looking to elevate your smartphone photography skills and take stunning photos? Look no further than our Smartphone Photography Workshop at Ashridge House on April 19th.  The evening courses is suitable for both iPhones and Android Phones.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of learning and capturing beautiful photos of both the interiors and exteriors of Ashridge House. In this 2½ hour workshop, you will learn how to maximise your smartphone camera's potential, from controlling brightness and avoiding blurry images to composing your shots effectively. Additionally, you'll discover how to capture stunning panoramic shots, slow-motion, time-lapse, and more using a wide range of lenses (we will provide lenses if your phone only has one).

As the instructor, I will guide you through the entire process and share valuable tips and tricks to take your photos to the next level. Starting at 5:45 pm, we'll meet at the Main House Reception and begin with understanding the phone camera settings. From there, we'll move on to interiors and landscapes, followed by people and building (weather permitting) photography. Finally, we'll wrap up with photo editing before ending the session at 8:30 pm.

This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to enhance their photography skills, regardless of whether they use an iPhone or an Android device. Not only will you gain valuable knowledge and experience, but you'll also have the chance to capture the beauty of Ashridge House both inside and out.  This is a fantastic opportunity to explore this historic location and take home some amazing photos.

But don't just take my word for it - hear what our previous students have to say! David Porthouse-Reick said, "I highly recommend one of MelenTraining’s photography courses, the gothic style church at Ashridge is a perfect backdrop, great courses, great venue!"

Spaces are limited and subject to availability, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. The cost is £59.50 per person, and you can reserve your spot on the Ashridge House website. Don't miss out on this chance to improve your photography skills and capture the beauty of Ashridge House with your smartphone. Join us for an evening you won't forget!
